Mouseion Topos project is designing and developing interactive technologies that connect peripheral museums of the Aegean with their settlements and promote local cultural heritage.
Mouseion Topos - Chios is a learning game and tour app that promotes the heritage of mastic production.
It is a location-based app that can be played at the Mastic Museum and Mastichochoria, and the settlement of Olympoi, in Mastichochoria, Chios island.
By playing the game, visitors of Mastichochoria and the museum can discover - the social and economic conditions from mid 14th century (Genoese era) until the first half of the 20th century, that affected the cultivation and production of mastic in Chios.
